The staff made us feel so welcome, and both breakfast and dinner were simply amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a lovely garden and pool, and the rooms were very nice. One of the best hotels of our time in Morocco.

Inside the old city walls, the location is brilliant. We had excellent food in the evening and again at breakfast.

The cooked food was insanely good, though the meals weren't all equally consistent. The hotel has a lovely pool, spa services and alcohol, and it feels very safe. But it was burning hot when we were there, and the air conditioning didn't work. Even my mother and I, who work with air conditioning, couldn't get it going. After drinking cucumber juice, we both got incredibly sick for two days, so I'd avoid that.

The rooms ruined the stay for us. They were small and not nice, the Wi-Fi didn't work at all even when we switched to the right network, and the air conditioner kept turning itself on and off all night with no way to leave it running. There was no soundproofing, so footsteps outside or even a cat meowing woke us. I slept worse here than anywhere else on my 16-day Morocco trip. They also provided just one uncomfortable pillow, a first for me in the country. The setting itself is beautiful, staff friendly and food generally good, but none of that made up for the rooms.
