L'oasis de Kima

The room was clean and really comfortable. It’s a good place with very nice people, warmly recommended.

Karima and Gérard made our stay at the Kima Oasis unforgettable. They were delightful hosts and so attentive, helping arrange a horse-drawn carriage tour of Taroudant, ordering a taxi, and sharing tips on places to see, among other things. The meals and breakfast were generous, delicious, and made with top-quality ingredients. Karima planned them, and Fatima, her mother, cooked. The grounds have a garden, cactus garden, exotic plants, tents, a pétanque court, and a huge swimming pool. The rooms open onto a patio and have traditional decor, great beds, shower gel, towels, and a hairdryer. We highly recommend staying here, and thank you for your hospitality!

Gérard recommended excursions around the area and a little farther out, and they gave us a chance to experience everyday life in this part of the country. We were lucky enough to spend seven nights with Gérard and Karima, enjoying their quietly warm hospitality, good food, and the peaceful garden and pool. The rooms sit around a private patio, with tasteful decor and excellent beds. Karima and Gérard were always ready to help with a taxi, a horse-drawn carriage, or an address for somewhere to visit. Meals were served on the terrace by Gérard, who’s an excellent sommelier. Karima created the menus, and her mother and Fatima cooked them. The flavors and quality were outstanding, thanks for such a treat. We spent lovely moments playing pétanque with the owners, who are quite good at it. Karima and her father also tend a beautiful vegetable garden. There’s a lagoon-colored pool with gorgeous sunsets, and plenty of room to swim during the day. The many exotic plants and birdsong make the garden a lovely place to wander. It’s a magical, majestic setting, and Karima and Gérard gave us a very warm welcome. We only wish our stay could have been longer. Many thanks to them and the cousins!
