The rooms were comfortable and nice, and we had use of a fully equipped kitchen, a garden, and a rooftop. You can also use the washing machine. There isn’t a set price, but leaving some money is appreciated. We had trouble finding the place at first, then realized it was down a small, narrow street. Once there, it was super quiet, and the welcome to Fez couldn’t have been better. Such a pleasant stay.

I got a good, much-needed rest before carrying on with my journey. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the shower worked great. It’s a very clean, calm riad, just a little outside the Médina, which made it a nice starting point for the day. Thank you.

Smail and Naima were the friendliest people we met on our trip. The room was comfortable, and the food was spectacular. We’d come back to the Dar just to have lunch. It was a MARVELOUS surprise: from the narrow alley, we never expected to find such a beautiful place. The location is perfect, just outside the medina and only a few minutes’ walk from the main sights.

The tea is good, and I had no trouble getting hot water or taking a shower in my room. The air conditioning and heater are the same device, and you can walk to the Médina. Get your water from the store just outside. This is owned by a very nice Berber guy, not a foreign owner. They’ll try to find you a guide if you need one. Staying here feels like being welcomed into someone else’s home, sharing a meal with a stranger who becomes part of the family. That’s the feeling you get at this Riad.
