The staff were lovely, and the riad is a pleasant little place with a very distinctive room decor. The bathroom is basic, with no shower curtain, for example. We ate dinner there one evening. The portions were massive and the salads were delicious, but the vegetable tagine was truly awful, the vegetables were overcooked and mushy. I heard the chicken tagine was better. They can serve wine, which was nice. Breakfast was extremely basic, just bread, jam, and honey.

The couch looked nice, but it was really uncomfortable to sit on. And though the dining area seems enclosed, it's actually open air, so the temperature depends on the weather. We were cold. The heater helped but wasn't enough. Dinner came in huge portions. Two smaller eaters could easily share the menu for one person. The vegetables were especially delicious, and the soup was very tasty too. You can only pay cash.

The garden was lovely, and the riad felt very Moroccan. It was spotless and well looked after, with friendly, welcoming staff. The food was delightful, and there was plenty of it. I wish I'd had more time here, and hope to come back.

We dropped in late afternoon after a hectic time exploring Taroudant, just hoping they might be able to make lunch. They went out of their way to fit us in, and our host explained the food as we went. The meal was a real treat in lovely surroundings. We started with mint and cucumber soup, then had an amazing spread of salads, especially the pumpkin and cabbage. I'm vegetarian, so they made me a discounted set meal with a tasty vegetarian tagine that was beautifully caramelised. My husband had chicken tagine with lemon and olives. We finished with delicious pastilla au lait or jowhara, then drank fabulous mint tea.

The breakfast was the best we've had in Morocco so far, with a lovely garden view and birds singing. The people were friendly and helpful, and we were upgraded to a big room with a garden-facing window. The rooms are great. WiFi was super fast and there was a TV too. Other guests recommended having dinner here.
