What gives this riad in Agadir its charm is the house itself. It once belonged to a family, and you can feel that history in the place. The traditional Moroccan decor has colorful details and lovely finishes, with a lot of originality throughout. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, and booking was easy, with smooth communication. The team was also glad to answer questions and suggest places and activities, from massages to the souks. It’s a special choice if you want somewhere with character instead of a standard hotel. Definitely worth considering.

The guesthouse was beautiful and really clean, and everyone was so welcoming. They even arranged a taxi from the airport in the middle of the night. Breakfast was delicious too. Can definitely recommend it!

They let us keep our bike boxes in the garage while we were away on a three week bike tour, which was a big help. The hotel is close to the airport, with caring, helpful staff, lovely decor, and pretty, peaceful gardens. It felt like a sanctuary away from the busy streets. Finding it can be tricky. Google Maps is accurate, but there’s no sign on the tall, solid wooden gates. Ring the bell beside the gate.

This was our third visit, and Villa Du Souss is a must for us whenever we arrive in Agadir. It’s an easy 10 minute transfer to a warm welcome and capable care from Kaoutar. The dinner is truly delicious, especially our favourite, lamb and prunes. They can have a hire car delivered the next day, too. Stay longer if you can. Highly recommended.

After the journey, Villa du Souss was such a lovely place to arrive at. They’d arranged our airport taxi, just a short drive away, and Kawtar welcomed us at the door. A bubbling tagine, fresh dishes, lovely bread, and fruit were waiting, and the service was impeccable. Our room was stunning, with an incredible painted ceiling and beautiful craftsmanship in the room and furnishings. There was air conditioning, a bath, and a veranda. The bed was very firm. My husband loved it and slept brilliantly, though I’d have preferred a little more padding. Booking communication was quick and helpful, and they gave me details for car hire companies. Breakfast was very good at 5 euro each. The hospitality and value for money are spot on, and we’ll stay again whenever we fly in or out of Agadir. If you’re starting or ending an authentic Morocco trip, it’s a good place to do it. Thank you for having us, we look forward to coming back soon.
