Al Mandari Hotel

The location was perfect, and I loved the big room, its nice view, and the generous, tasty breakfast buffet. The restaurant staff, receptionist, and security guard were all very nice. The first two days were lovely and I managed to relax a bit, but the last two were a nightmare. The people upstairs made constant noise, talking, moving chairs, and walking with loud steps. I could even hear their shower. I complained to reception many times, but the girl offered no solution except moving me to a different type of room, away from the nice mountain view I had. The next day I complained again several times, but they said they couldn't do anything because there was a small child in the room. I'm writing this at 2 am from the room because I can't get any sleep.

The location and the staff's attitude were the only things I liked. I got bitten by insects overnight and had to sleep in a jacket. In the morning I found several bugs in the room. Hygiene was disappointing, and breakfast was limited, mostly pastries with little variety.

From the rooftop room with its terrace, the view over the greenery and mountains was breathtaking. The hotel is right in the heart of the city, and the professional staff checked me in quickly.

The mountain view was a highlight, and the hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and local attractions, so it was easy to explore on foot. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were welcoming and professional throughout, and made sure everything was right. My stay at Al Mandari Hotel in Tétouan exceeded my expectations. I've found somewhere I'll return to whenever I'm nearby, and would happily recommend it for business or leisure.
