Tarmguist

The only thing I’d suggest is adding eggs and fresh juice to breakfast, though you can ask and they’re happy to provide them. I spent a beautiful, memorable day at Tarmguist (Maison d’Hôtes), where the peaceful, authentic atmosphere made it feel like home. Mr. Hassan’s kindness and warmth really stayed with me. We had long, meaningful conversations about culture, history, life, and plenty more. He’s a wise old man with a smile that never fades, and his genuine interest in guests captures the spirit of Tarmguist. It’s a restful place that also inspires you, and I’d highly recommend it to travelers looking for more than just somewhere to sleep.

The tea was absolutely on point, and the food was excellent too. This little hotel has a real Sahara feel, with plenty of nice spots to sit and unwind. It’s in a stunning, quiet desert location, a great place to relax while traveling. I had an excellent, authentic stay and can’t imagine a better place to stay in Morocco 🇲🇦. Thanks for having us, Hassan!

The terrace and garden are spectacular, with beautiful surroundings at the oasis and plenty of places around the guesthouse to sit and relax. Hassan, Mohammed, and Zahra were wonderful hosts. Our room was clean and comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Highly recommended.

Hassan and his wife got up at 5am to send us off with a generous breakfast so we could start cycling early. We really appreciated that. Hassan speaks fluent English and gave us a lovely welcome. We had a delicious dinner on the terrace, with beautiful views all around. An excellent homestay.
