Kasbah Atfel

You’ll want a car to get around easily, including trips to the market and mountains, and I did wish there were a gym. The facilities were otherwise great. We stayed with my partner and felt very cared for by Aziz and his wife, who are such warm, lovely hosts. Dinner was fresh, well cooked, and amazing. Rouselle the cat was adorable and gentle. She sticks close and may try to sneak into your room, but she's harmless. I didn't get to say goodbye to her. This guest house is well worth a visit, and I'd happily recommend it. Five stars from me.

The garden and farm were a lovely part of our stay. The gardener happily showed us around the estate, with its many organic fruits and vegetables. As I understood it, they use this produce in meals for guests. Our room was spacious and clean, looking out over the garden and pool. There was also a nice reading nook upstairs, plus a heated pool with beach beds and a hammock. The pet dogs were friendly and very happy to get attention. We hadn't booked ahead, but luckily there were rooms available. The owners welcomed us warmly. Finding Kasbah Atfel by chance made the stay feel even more magical, and it became the highlight of my Morocco trip. I was sorry to leave and will definitely come back for longer next time.

The team at Kasbah Atfel were so kind and made us feel at home. We had a spacious rooftop room that was quiet and heated well. Outside, the landscape was beautiful, with a direct view of the Atlas mountains. Staying here felt like a dream, almost like being in paradise.

We had a really enjoyable four nights at Kasbsh Atfel. The kasbah is peaceful and laid-back, and the staff are friendly and kind. Both the rooms and grounds were very clean and well looked after. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we had more travelling to do.
