Dar toda - Zagora guest house

Dar Toda felt like such a warm, charming home in Zagora. Walid and his family were some of the kindest people I've met on my travels, and they made me feel cared for and welcome from the start. Their hospitality had me at ease right away. The traditional home-cooked food was amazing, made with so much love. I'm grateful I stayed here and will be back. Thank you so much for everything!

The people I met here were lovely, and Zagora is close enough for a walk or a quick taxi. Walking is a nice way to explore the city. I already know I'll come back and recommend it to everyone I meet along the way. The home feels so welcoming, and the rooftop has a gorgeous, peaceful view of the palm trees. The rooms are lovely and have everything you need. Walid is a wonderful host, and his family is beautiful. Zahra is generous to everyone and an amazing cook. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all incredible. She really holds the household and family together, a true power woman. Dar Toda is such a friendly, relaxed family stay, and the place is cute, clean, and calm. The family who runs it are wonderful. Walid and his parents do everything they can to make you feel at home. Life moves slowly here, which really suits the atmosphere. The food is delicious, traditional, and cooked by the mother. If you're heading to Zagora, I imagine you're looking for somewhere unconventional and away from the tourist traps in the big cities. Walid taught us about the “real Magreb,” and staying here gave us a full, authentic Zagora experience. I've never stayed anywhere quite like it. It was the best experience, and I'd definitely recommend Dar Toda. Go for it, you won't regret it!

The traditional meals were delicious, full of the genuine flavor of local culture, and made with care. I also appreciated the excellent internet for work, the terrace for meditation, and the shared areas where you can relax or meet people. The room was clean, safe, and comfortable, just right for resting. Dar Toda offers a real immersion in the life and culture of this unique family.
