4/10
The location near the city centre is the only good thing about this hotel. The receptionists are rude and barely speak English. Breakfast was very poor, and the forks, knives, and spoons weren’t clean. The toilet in my room was broken. I told reception, but nobody did anything, so I had to put up with water running constantly in the bathroom. The AC is very dirty inside and doesn’t work properly. This is nowhere near a four-star hotel, maybe two stars at most. I wouldn’t recommend staying longer than one night.

The room was clean, everything worked, and it was large enough for the price. The staff were great, and the atmosphere was lovely, with classical music playing softly as you walk into the beautiful foyer. Some might say five stars is too high for this hotel, but I disagree. In my life, I’ve only had to leave one hotel for another four times, and today was one of them.

The hotel itself is pretty good, but I booked it mainly because I wanted breakfast. I was told the night before that it would be ready at 8 a.m. At 8:10 there was still no food, and the receptionist lazily said it wasn’t his business because the restaurant was separate and its staff hadn’t arrived. He showed no interest in helping until I asked for the complaints book. In the end, I got a takeaway lunchbox and excuses instead of a proper breakfast. Not a pleasant experience.

10/10
The staff are very welcoming, and the room was spacious enough with all the usual facilities. Breakfast was okay, though not great. It’s a good four-star hotel right in the heart of Chisinau. Definitely recommend it.

Good location in the city centre, with an easy drive to the airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service is good quality without surprises. The staff are friendly, though service can be a bit slow but still acceptable. The restaurant is quiet with no loud music, and the food is good. Parking and the fitness centre are somewhat limited, but the sauna has an ice-bucket-style splash that’s fun.
