I usually don’t sleep well in unfamiliar places and rarely choose hotels when I travel, but I rested comfortably here. It was quiet, and everything felt convenient. There’s a convenience store and Japanese restaurant across the street. The women working at the first-floor reception were patient and helpful, and the service was very good.

I hope the floor covering gets changed, and that clean towels become standard instead of an issue.

Our business trip stay was made easier by the reception team. They helped with a taxi, lent us umbrellas in the rain, and brought coffee when we asked in the evening. No matter how late it was, someone was there to help, and everyone at reception was friendly. The rooms were a little small, but the location was good, on a reliable street and about a 10-minute walk from the center. Thank you to Ms. Andrea and the whole team.

This was a terrible hotel choice. I can’t give less than one star. I don’t know whether the bad treatment at reception had to do with race, but the service was awful. We had to tell them the night before that we wanted breakfast or they wouldn’t serve it. One evening we asked them to heat food we’d bought, and the girl put the paper bag in the microwave for a minute. The food was still completely cold. On our last day, staff did wash our clothes properly, but the evening receptionist said I owed 200 leu (10USD). I didn’t object to the charge, but I wanted to pay by card because I had no local currency, only dollars, and it was my last day in the country. She refused and said paying in dollars meant giving her 20USD (400leu), practically twice as much for a service that was supposedly included in the hotel price. I said that was too much and I wouldn’t pay it. She told me to find a bank or exchange office, even though it was 9 at night and everything was closed. She didn’t seem to care and just wanted the money anyway. Lousy choice, look for somewhere better.
