The river and rocky hills nearby give the place a special feel, and there’s a small pool too. It’s a lovely spot out in nature, especially if you enjoy the countryside. The staff are warm and attentive, and the homemade Moldovan food is traditional and really tasty. They can also host outdoor events and parties.

The food was Moldovan-style and decent, though not outstanding, and we waited over an hour for it. We only came for dinner and a look around. The grounds looked nice, but I wish someone had been there to share stories about the houses, the place, or its history.

I really liked the riverside family house, its lovely garden, and the authentic food. But I was very disappointed to see a worker dump about 20 kg of plastic roofing material into the river. That’s unacceptable, and the owners should be responsible for the people working for them.

We were able to park our camper van beside the river and hills, and the toilets, showers, and pool were all tidy and available. The host was friendly and easy to talk to, while the food, wine, and scenery were fantastic. It’s a great place to start a trip around Moldova, learn about the country, or try the homemade wine. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Moldova.
