We stayed for two nights and found the apartment just right for us. It’s in a handy part of Bar, near both the old town and the center. The place is compact, but it has what you need, with thoughtful decor and nice little touches. Tanja was lovely, quick to respond, and always around if we needed help; her husband was just as kind and even shared fruit from their beautiful garden. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.
For 70 euros for two nights, this was the best apartment stay I had in Montenegro. Tatyana and her husband were really nice. The rooms are small, but they’re cozy and very clean, with lots of useful touches you don’t usually get in a rental. I also liked the location: the train and bus stations are nearby, the sea is about a 20-minute walk, and there’s a bus stop for Old Bar close by. It was my first time seeing table tennis in an apartment, too. Thank you very much!
The garden view was lovely, with fruit and vegetables grown by the hosts, and the apartments were spotless and had new appliances. Tanja and Dusko made a real effort to help us feel at home, even stopping by with local treats for us to try. We had a really nice few nights at El Sol apartments in Bar, and I’d highly recommend it.
The owners are such lovely people, honestly among the nicest I met in Montenegro. If you’re arriving in Bar by train or bus and staying at El Sol Apartmani, you won’t need a taxi. The three cozy apartments have all the essentials, with new full-size beds. The nights were surprisingly quiet for the location, and there are only two steps up to the door.
