The hosts were kind and pleasant, which was the one good thing. The place is old and in poor condition, and the photos show what the rest is like. My biggest problem was how little soundproofing there was. An old wooden door with gaps let all the noise through. A group of young people played music and partied right outside it every night, while a child upstairs cried from 6 a.m. each day. There were lots of ants by the sink. The old, dirty dishwashing sponges could easily have been replaced, since new ones cost next to nothing. The freezer compartment door in the fridge had broken off, so food meant for breakfast froze solid because the freezer's cold air leaked into the fridge.

The neighborhood was quiet, parking was affordable, and sightseeing spots were easy to get to. The hosts were lovely.

I had a confirmed booking, but the owners canceled on the day I was due to arrive, while I was already on my way and close to the accommodation. Their extreme irresponsibility put my whole trip in doubt, and I had to urgently find somewhere else in the middle of the journey. The worst experience possible. Avoid this place if you want a safe, peaceful vacation.

The kitchen had all the basics, including dishes, a stove and oven, and a kettle. There was also a hairdryer in Kupatilo. This is a small, two-story hotel with terraces, and seems ideal in hot weather, though nights get cool in October. Our room's only air conditioner was in the kitchen. I had booked a double room with a balcony, but the third bed was in an adjoining room that was closed and had a balcony. Upstairs, there's a terrace with sun loungers and a table and chairs. Downstairs, chairs sit on a terrace shaded by grape and pomegranate trees.
