Elia Hotel Residence

We really enjoyed breakfast with the sea view, and there was everything we needed. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the hotel was clean with new furniture. It was also nice that parking and the sauna were free. Thanks for everything.

We booked eight months ahead for my wife, our 11-year-old, our 8-month-old baby and me, and Booking confirmed that the property had accepted the reservation. When we arrived on the booked day, there was nobody at reception. I couldn't get an answer at the confirmation number either. After a waiter who only spoke Turkish directed me to a young Turkish woman handling reservations, she said we had no booking and that the Booking listing wasn't theirs. I showed her the confirmation. She called several numbers in Turkey, then said the accommodation photos were theirs but that Booking had committed fraud because their prices were much higher than the price we'd booked. She told me to call the number from the confirmation and said they'd switched that phone off. If someone answered, she said, they would give us accommodation. So that evening they left us outside with a baby and an 11-year-old. She also told me to contact Booking, which I did, but I still haven't had a reply. It seems to me Booking has no sanctions for fraudsters. Their neighbors told me a new Booking page and reservation number had probably been opened after prices changed during the year, and that people who booked earlier at lower prices had been deceived this way. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. They weren't friendly and came across as scammers and not serious.

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen or stayed in. They gave us a “clean” sheet, but it smelled disgusting. We weren't expecting it to smell nice, but this was definitely awful.

A really clean, very good place, and the beaches are close by.
