The place felt safe, and it’s about 1.5 km from the old town. We enjoyed our first two nights so much, with very clean rooms and a lovely owner, that after spending two days in Kotor we came back and stayed another two nights. I’d definitely recommend it.

It’s around a ten-minute walk into Budva center, and there’s free parking on the street outside. The rooms were clean and recently renovated, and the hostess was really friendly and nice.

The apartment itself might have been fine, maybe a 6/10, but the booking experience was a problem. I wasn’t told in the description that payment had to be made by direct transfer, and only learned this after booking. Canceling would have meant a 50% fee. The owner wanted to use WhatsApp instead of Booking’s official chat, which made me uneasy. The international transfer also came with a fee, and the owner said I had to cover the overpayment. I strongly advise against staying here because of the financial risk.

The apartments were spotless and had everything we needed, with shops nearby and both the beach and Old Town about a ten-minute walk away. Mrs. Buba and Mica were so hospitable that they made our stay a memorable one. The gongobos were the best we’ve ever eaten. 10/10, we’d recommend Buba apartments.
