Azzuro Apartments

We had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view, and the bed was really comfortable. The service was friendly, the place was spotless, and it was quiet when we visited in mid-May. The beach is close, and having a small supermarket just downstairs was very convenient. We’ll definitely come back!

For a low budget, this place is amazing. The hosts are polite, understanding, and just great. The room gets cleaned every day, and the staff are wonderful. You’re close to everything and still in the city centre, but there’s no city noise. A definite 10 out of 10. 😀

The room was cleaned daily and was clean, but ours didn’t have a kitchen like the photos showed. Communicating was difficult because the staff didn’t speak English. There’s one woman who does, but she was only around a few times. We’d arranged airport transfers both ways by email before the stay. Luckily, that woman was there when we went to confirm, because the staff had forgotten about them.

This has been our worst experience in Montenegro so far. The air conditioner didn’t work for four days, and staff didn’t respond to our requests to fix it. The room was very dark because the supposed window was actually a balcony door facing the wall of a neighboring house. Then, the day before we left, 100 euros went missing from our room. The host did nothing to look into it. UPDATE: The host left a really odd comment, so I want to clarify a couple of things. We were traveling as a family and didn’t invite strangers into our room. Reception had told us we’d have to pay extra to use a safety deposit box. We’ve visited Montenegro several times and never had anything stolen from our room before, so we decided we didn’t need one. I can’t recommend this place.
