Čenić Apartments

I had a wonderful three weeks here and would happily recommend it to friends. It felt safe and easy to come and go, even as a solo traveller, and the hosts were kind, quick to reply, and happy to help organise taxis to and from the airport. They even made homemade pastries for me, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Housekeeping was excellent and worked around my remote work schedule. The WiFi was 100mbps, more than enough for calls and Netflix, and I never had an interruption. The apartment had everything for a self contained stay, including a kitchenette with pots and pans, a balcony, an en suite, a big double bed, and plenty of storage. The walk to the beach is short, with supermarkets nearby, and Glovo delivery worked well. Beicici is a lovely beach with lots of locals and some of the clearest water I’ve ever seen, just a six-minute walk away. The apartment sits up quite a steep hill, so be ready for a bit of cardio, though it’s manageable. It’s a great base for Budva, Sveti Stefan, and Kotor, which is about a 30-minute taxi ride. They’re all a short ten-minute taxi ride or walkable. I walked to budva a few times a week, taking 35 minutes at a good pace or 50 if I meandered. I have no complaints. The only little extra I would’ve liked, though I absolutely didn’t expect it, was a coffee machine. I’d have happily bought pods, and it would’ve saved a walk to the beach front for coffee. For a “3 star” stay, the value was outstanding. I’d especially recommend it to solo female travellers. The water is STUNNING, and all the gorgeous locations in my pictures were close enough to walk to.
