Chill and Go Aparthotel

Of all the apartment hotels we've visited on our travels, this one is the most memorable. Maybe the service rated four stars back in 2017, but by 2024 it barely merited three. Across our two week stay, the room was cleaned just three times. Things kept breaking or coming loose, including the door locks and handles. We found worms in the oven, and dust floated around the room. The balcony gave us a sea view, plus a view of the cemetery. It felt as if nobody cared about the hotel anymore.

The balcony has a lovely view, and there’s a small pool that’s nice for a quick dip. Free parking is available too. It is a bit of a trek from the center, the sea, and most restaurants.

The balcony was a nice spot, with a table, chairs, and a good view. The bed in the living room was decent, though too short for me to stretch my legs out fully. The TV was pretty mediocre, with just the usual Montenegrin channels. One automatic blind was broken and wouldn’t close all the way. The kitchen setup felt limited. The table only had two seats, which wasn’t enough for us, and there weren’t many dishes, utensils, pots, or pans. The Teflon coating on the pans was damaged, and there wasn’t even salt or pepper. We also had a hard time figuring out the dishwasher. The washing machine took ages, and both times we used it, one item of clothing bled dye onto the others and ruined them. There was no detergent or laundry pod, so we had to buy our own. Hot water ran out after about two showers, even though we kept them short and nearly cold, but the water pressure was great. Room cleaning was every other day. The staff were very friendly, though the pool was far too small to use.

The pool is small, but the area around it is pleasant for relaxing. Staff were really friendly, and the hotel itself was nice and clean. It’s in a good spot, not too far from the city center. Breakfast came to the rooms since there’s no restaurant. It varied a lot, sometimes there was plenty to eat, other times it was just a couple of croissants. If you want a new, quiet hotel and don’t have particular breakfast needs, this place should suit you.
