Freedom Hostel Budva

A great hostel right in the middle of the old town. The kitchen has an amazing view, and it’s also a nice place to hang out and meet other travelers. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the beds and pillows are comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean. Highly recommend!

I came on my own in March and ended up extending my stay because I wasn’t ready to leave. Freedom Hostel was one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in, with a great atmosphere and service. It sits in the heart of Old Town Budva overlooking the ocean, and felt like a perfect break from busy city life. Both Milos and Fareh made me feel welcome and were easy to talk to. Fareh taught me some new games, and Milos knew so much about the country’s history, more than I think I’d learn from tourism books. I loved how much they cared about looking after guests. The rooms were clean, and the common area let me meet lovely people from all over. I also really appreciated Milos spending hours trying to transfer my paragliding video. Thanks, Freedom Hostel. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Fahre brought a lot of fun to our stay, switching from guitar to chess and keeping everyone laughing. Milos was just as thoughtful, sharing a useful town guide and places to visit, and even giving us a generous discount. Freedom Hostel Budva felt like being welcomed into someone’s home. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Budva.

The host was so kind and helped me sort out my travel plans. I also loved being able to see the beach from the balcony. That view made the stay feel extra special.
