Guest House Heart of Budva

The house was comfortable and clean, and everything looked like the photos. Tatiana was always welcoming and nice to talk to. She even helped us out with a beach umbrella, so many thanks to her and Olga. We stayed in room #4, a triple with a large balcony where we could sit and eat; room #5 is the same, and both have windows facing the courtyard. The guesthouse takes up the second floor, while a family lives on the first. There are three bathrooms for four rooms on our floor, including one with a washing machine. We got lucky with our neighbors, who were lovely, so the shared areas and bathroom queues weren’t a problem. The sea is about a relaxed 15-minute walk away, with no steep slopes. Shops, bakeries, and cafes are close by. We liked the "Kuzhina" cafe at the crossroads near the house, especially the oven-baked meat, and the prices were reasonable. The road outside is quite busy, but it didn’t bother us even with the balcony door open. There were a few things that could be improved. Shared basics like laundry detergent, sunflower oil, and trash bags weren’t provided, and it’s awkward to buy a whole supply for a short stay. The Wi-Fi was patchy in some parts of the house. The refrigerators were either too few or too small, and one frying pan shared among four families wasn’t enough. There was no TV either. Some shade from a canopy or awning on the balconies would be nice, as would small cards with the address, name, and local pictures to make things like ordering a taxi easier. We enjoyed our stay.
