This is a tiny village, so don’t expect much from it, but the river scenery and the lake view ahead are beautiful. If you want to see the birds along the whole way down to the lake and get those views from the water, stop here for a boat instead of going to Virpazar. Ludmila and Ivan, aka Captain, who may be the boat driver if you rent one, are lovely. The apartments were clean and good, and breakfast was homemade and really tasty. I also loved the pomegranate drink.

The river and old bridge views were lovely, and the place itself was quiet and very clean. We found it on Booking listed as Holiday Homes. Lumdilla was warm and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it.

The hotel was closed, but after I tried repeatedly to get my money back, it seems they kept it without a second thought. This property is still operating fraudulently, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It’s sad how people operate these days.

The rooms have air conditioning, and you can either cook on-site, where there’s a refrigerator, or eat at the restaurant just downstairs. Ludmila was friendly and welcoming, and the rooms have stunning views over the river. It’s a rustic place in one of the village’s oldest houses, right above the water, and the location is superb. Good value for the money.
