The hostess was very kind, and the room had every facility we needed. Great value for money, with a super location for getting around on foot.

Parking was available nearby, and the location is excellent. The lady looking after the place was super friendly and nice.

Breakfast had a good choice, and the beds were comfortable. The apartment was large and modern.

We found the location really convenient: there’s a bus stop and two large supermarkets nearby, and the old town is about a five-minute walk away. The bus station takes around 20 minutes on foot, while Mogren Beach and Slavyanskaya Beach are an easy, unhurried 10-minute walk. For the price, the quality was good. It’s a small, quiet guesthouse. We stayed for 10 days in September after booking through Booking.com a month ahead. Payment was due at check-in. The hosts answered our questions beforehand, the price stayed the same, and the room matched what we’d reserved. We were registered when we arrived and got two sets of keys, since the courtyard is locked too. Our room had a double bed and a single fold-out sofa. There was a small terrace with a clothesline, clothespins, a table, and two chairs. We brought the chairs inside for convenience. A wardrobe with hangers was provided, as well as a refrigerator, washing machine, water heater, air conditioner, iron and ironing board, electric coffee pot, kettle, TV, and digital TV box. The air conditioner didn’t seem to cool well, though maybe I didn’t work out the controls. There weren’t many Russian-language channels, but we didn’t watch TV anyway. There was also a set of dishes, even a corkscrew 🙂, liquid soap, laundry detergent, and a pack of toilet paper. In the courtyard there was a sink with dishwashing liquid. The small bathtub had no shower curtain, and the shower head couldn’t be hung high, only at waist level. The one thing we lacked was a way to heat food. We’d read the reviews and brought a heated lunchbox, which came in handy. Towels were changed on request and bed linen every five days. The place didn’t seem to get cleaned, perhaps that was also by request, but we managed without it. The hostess was kind and responsive without being intrusive. She didn’t speak Russian, but she spoke English and Bosnian, which is similar to Russian. When we didn’t understand each other, a translator helped, and the Wi-Fi worked great. We weren’t bothered unless we asked for something ourselves.
