Sea Hostel

Good value for the money, and the location is great.

I was in Budva before, so finding this place to stay was easy enough. I booked a transfer for the return trip, though you can arrange one after you arrive. The main hassle was the hill and the climb to the fifth floor in the evening after a long day. Apart from that, they helped me with everything. I stayed in a bunk in a four-person room, with clean towels and linens. The bathroom was clean, toiletries were available, and I could use the washing machine. There’s also a kitchen with what you need to cook, plus an ironing board and iron you can use for free. The host, Ilya, is Russian and explained everything. He really became a friend. His assistant, Valery, was around too and could point me to good, inexpensive places to eat. 😊

For the price, it does the job as a place to sleep, and there’s a nice terrace. Getting down to Budva to go out is easy, and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers weren’t as clean as I’d hoped, though.

Calling it a hostel feels wrong. It’s a small apartment packed with bunk beds, with hardly any space. The bathroom was dirty, and despite the claim that it’s near the center, it’s actually quite far away.
