We both found it cosy and good value, and it worked really well for us. It has a bit of a hostel and guest house feel combined. The family were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and pleasant. The main bus station is close by, which was handy. Getting to the old town and beaches takes more of a walk, though. We'd recommend staying here.

The family downstairs made us feel so welcome, and we got a great deal by booking directly with them. I liked the place enough to extend my stay. It’s cosy and set on a quiet street. There’s a lounge area and a balcony outside with lots of tables and chairs, lovely in the sunshine. The Wi-Fi was excellent, and the kitchen had plenty of utensils, a stove, kettle, and microwave. Showers had hot running water. Everything was spotless, and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location worked out perfectly: five minutes to the main bus stop, around ten to the beach, and twenty to the old town, with shops, cafés, and restaurants along the way. Highly recommend.

They seem to have some deep-rooted issues, and their behavior can be troubling enough to make a healthy relationship with them difficult.

The owners were incredibly kind. When an issue meant we had to find another hostel, they helped us arrange it even though that wasn't in their own interest. 😊
