Viola Hotel Budva

Zühre at reception was always happy to answer our questions, and the staff handled a small electricity issue in our room quickly. They moved us to another room in 2-3 minutes and dealt with it professionally. The hotel was clean and modern, with a very friendly team. I had a really good time and highly recommend staying here.

They cancelled our room on the day we were due to stay, giving what I believe was a fake excuse. They didn't honor our agreement. Don't trust them, they scammed us.

The garden rooms had a homely feel, and the pool was clean, roomy enough, and sunny whenever you wanted to lounge. The hotel also had parking, hot water around the clock, Wi-Fi, and large-screen LCD Smart TVs in the rooms. Breakfast was made with good, clean products and there was plenty of it. “Viola” feels like a new, carefully designed building, with stylish, high-quality rooms and luxurious central air conditioning. Budva has plenty of older boutique hotels, but this one feels built to high standards with a modern architectural design. Its central location makes it easy to walk to beaches, Old Town, and sightseeing spots, and it is close to the airport. With its comfort, cleanliness, and facilities, I think it's a reassuring choice for families with children, honeymooners, or anyone wanting a quiet break. I'd stay again when in Budva.

The owners told us at the end that they only took cash, though the booking website said card payment was available. They mostly sat by the pool smoking, while only two young men seemed to be working. We had to ask separately for basic things like towels, shampoo, body wash, and toilet paper, since the rooms weren't cleaned and towels weren't changed. Towels also couldn't be taken to the beach or hotel pool. Breakfast was a joke, with no coffee except Nescafe.
