The people were pleasant, but I want to be honest about my experience. I paid 65 euros for a very small bedroom in someone's house, and arrived at 6 pm. It was still vacant in August, during high season, which tells you something. In October, I doubt anyone would take it. That's supply and demand, I suppose. For that kind of room, I'd usually pay no more than 15 euros in the Southern Balkans, but this is Petrovac na Moru in peak season. My takeaway is to avoid Montenegro beach resorts in August next time. Spain, Greece, or Italy are cheaper. Even so, this place is better than Jadran Pol. There's a maniac running that place, so stay away!
