Hotel Aquilo

We loved how the staff treated us, everyone was friendly and helpful, and you could tell they enjoy their work. The hotel is family run, with lovely modern rooms that are comfortable, spotless, and have nice balconies. Breakfast was fresh, homemade, and excellent. We also had a fantastic meal at the restaurant, which has a wonderful terrace. The beach, with some great beach bars, is only a 5-7 minute walk away. Honestly, I’d recommend this place, it’s the best in the area. Added a dinner photo and the view from our balcony 😍

The food was a real surprise, so good for a small hotel, and the prices were surprisingly affordable. It’s a hotel restaurant, so you can come in to eat even if you’re not staying here. The rooms are spacious, new, and clean. Aquilo sits at the edge of Buljarice, a few meters above the other houses and hotels. That’s enough to catch a nice breeze in the evenings and at night. Lučice beach is nearby, as is Petrovac. In a word, perfect. Big recommendation.

May was quiet, and we enjoyed the whole week. It’s a short walk to the beach. I’ll be back.

The hosts are welcoming, the food is good, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and in a new, very nice hotel. Both Buljarice and Lucice beaches are about a 10-minute walk away. We liked Lucice better because it seemed cleaner, and you get there on a pleasant 10-minute walk through the forest along a well-kept path. A great place to stay.
