The photos online showed a pristine, welcoming hotel, but Dilara was a run-down building that looked nothing like them. The rooms didn’t seem clean, and frequent power cuts made an already uncomfortable stay worse. I don’t believe the glowing Google reviews are genuine, and the place had a shady feel from the start. The manager was friendly and accommodating while we were booking. Once we complained, though, the attitude changed. They were rude, dismissed our concerns, and wouldn’t take responsibility for the problems. Staff were unpleasant and unhelpful, and tried to charge us for services we hadn’t received. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. I’d tell anyone who values their money and peace of mind to stay away from Dilara and book elsewhere. To me, it was a scam operation.

We went in July, then came back again in September. It’s a place where you can really unwind. 10/10, recommended!

There wasn’t any internet. When we asked, they said it had suddenly disappeared and was probably overloaded, though it seemed like even a small movement could make it cut out. The cutlery, glasses, mugs, and everything else were dirty and unwashed. There was no hot water, and we don’t know why. Nothing was like the pictures. Terrible.
