Dobrota and the Vido apartments turned out to be exactly where we were happiest staying, after traveling around Montenegro and seeing Budva, Petrovac, Rafailovići, Sveti Stefan and Herceg Novi. The place has its own beach with umbrellas and sun loungers, and a stunning view. Shops and restaurants are close, while Old Kotor is a 20-minute walk away. Vido and Elena were so warm and welcoming. Thanks to them, we’ll definitely come back and recommend the apartments to our friends.

The hosts were so friendly and quick to help. It’s a lovely choice for a family holiday or a romantic break, with restaurants, shops and a great rocky beach just 10 meters away; a small-pebble beach is 50 meters away. Kotor is a seven-minute drive or a 30-minute walk.

The neighborhood is very quiet, and the owners are attentive and friendly. The apartment is close to the beach, with an unforgettable view from the window, and there’s parking on site. You can also borrow bicycles and fishing rods. The rooms are only so-so in standard, though, and for this price it’s possible to find something better nearby.
