Boutique Hotel R Palazzo

Nikola made our stay so easy and enjoyable. He’s the loveliest, best manager I’ve met. The rooms are spacious and clean, and almost all have sea views. The balcony views are amazing, and the rooftop jacuzzi gives an even better perspective. The pool is really nice compared with other hotels in the area, breakfast is delicious, and there are several easy parking spots. The road below is worth mentioning, but in the end it wasn’t a major inconvenience for us.

The bay views are great from this small boutique hotel, and the little pool is nice for sunbathing. It’s easy to get to the waterfront walk, then about a pleasant 30-minute stroll to the Old Town. Breakfast buffet was good enough. Our room took a while to be cleaned on the first day, but we sorted that out by saying when we wanted it done. There wasn’t a kettle, but Nikola was very friendly and brought one when we asked. Recommended overall.

The road outside is busy, though we got used to it and it didn’t disturb our sleep. A short walk takes you down to a much quieter, pleasant lane by the shore. We didn’t have a car or bike, so walked a lot. Buses were cheap, but expect to wait. The staff were lovely and helpful, the accommodation was clean and excellent, and the food was good and reasonably priced compared with other restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful.

We had such relaxing days here. Everything was beautiful, from the amazing balcony rooms with sea views to the excellent breakfast. Nikola was kind and helpful, and arranged our boat tour. The rest of the staff were attentive and very nice too. It was perfect for us as a couple wanting to get away from crowded places and busy streets, something we’re used to living in New York City.
