Stay away from Aparthotel David, it’s hazardous for your health and safety. Everything here seems broken or missing. The rooms are low standard, or have no standard at all, and parking is tragic. We didn’t dare try the breakfast because of the stomach virus.

If you want the worst weekend of your life, you could book here, then arrive to find the rooms you reserved already occupied. The hotel owner is a deceiver who cheated us over money and rooms. The rooms were VERY dirty, with an awful smell from the toilet every morning. Cleaning was at the worst level, they just brought clean linen and rubbed the dirt around. Have a “nice” trip!

We went for lunch with the whole family, including two little kids. The service was quite rude from the start, though we understood English wasn’t their first language. Half the food we ordered was cold, but that wasn’t even the biggest problem. When we asked for the bill, the waiter said we couldn’t pay by card. Nobody had told us when we ordered that it was cash only, and there was no sign saying so. When I asked why, the waiter swore at us in the local language, joked around with the others, and gestured at us with his fingers. Then the “owner” shouted at me and my family and said I’d get beaten up for talking that way. He came very close and tried to aggressively grab my credit card from my hand. He also said no one would leave until someone left our documents there and went to get cash. When I asked him to calm down, he said he was the owner and could act however he wanted. We went to an ATM and paid the bill, since we had no intention of not paying. But if you don’t want to take part in the criminal activity going on here, I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place.

The rooms were okay, but there was just one socket, by the cooking area. We didn’t like the beach in front of the hotel, and the pool was dirty. The staff were okay.
