Kalamper Hotel & Spa

The spa is fantastic, and breakfast was excellent. The restaurant staff were friendly and professional, and the girls at reception were especially kind and helpful, making our stay even better. The hotel is beautiful and very clean, right next to the sea. We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it.

We visited in mid September 2025 and had a decent stay. The spa was great, with different pools, good saunas, and not too many people. The beach next to the hotel and the included places there were great, the water was beautiful, and the landscape was lovely. Our room also had a beautiful sea view. The room could use some improvement: the TV was quite old, and the shower wall was too short, so the bathroom often got wet while showering. There was also nowhere to mount the shower hose. Some employees seemed annoyed all the time, though not all of them. Parking could have been more spacious.

The gym at this hotel is in very, very poor shape. I don’t know about the rooms, but after warning management for at least 4 years, I had to say something. Most people working out don’t use towels, so sweat is often sprayed across the surfaces of machines that already don’t work properly. The basic equipment isn’t there: no squat rack or bench with a proper barbell. The stationary bike malfunctions, one of the two treadmills is completely broken, the left pull-up handle is broken, and the crunch bench is broken too. What bothers me most is people using the equipment without towels. It’s disgusting. Staff shouldn’t let anyone enter the gym without one, let alone train there. I have photos I could upload, but I’m hesitant because I’m a regular and still hope management will improve this poor gym. I might get in trouble for a negative review since I plan to keep going there, but there’s no gym close to where I live.

The pool is nice, but the hot tub is only warm, not hot enough to ease tired, sore muscles. It doesn’t really feel like a spa as advertised. Still, not bad, actually.
