The receptionists and housekeeping were welcoming throughout our stay, though the kitchen and bar staff came across as less warm. They weren't unfriendly, just not especially welcoming. Our room had a separate bedroom and worked perfectly for three of us. It was clean and comfortable, one of the best rooms we had on our trip. We stayed one night at Hotel Talia while passing through from Budva to Dubrovnik. Even in the off season, we could hear street noise at night, so I can imagine it bothering light sleepers in peak season. Lunch on arrival and breakfast before we left were included in the all-inclusive package. The food was okay, nothing special, so we went out for dinner.

Breakfast was a lovely start to each day, with fresh food and plenty of local and international choices. I also appreciated how calm the hotel felt, whether I wanted to rest or head out and explore the Montenegrin coast. My room was spacious, spotless, and had everything I needed. The balcony view was a real highlight. Hotel Talia is beautifully cared for, with an elegant look and modern comforts. From arrival, the staff made me feel at home with their warmth and professionalism. Everyone, from reception to housekeeping, paid attention to guests and went out of their way to help. I had a memorable stay and would happily return. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Montenegro. Thanks to the whole team.

I spent five days at Hotel Talia. The nightly rooftop bar music was the biggest problem. It played loudly until midnight or later, and we didn't sleep well once. We came to relax but went home more tired than when we arrived. The hotel's beach also costs 15 euros, even though our package was all-inclusive. There were some good points. The receptionist was friendly when we checked in and explained everything. The rooms in the hotel's 4-star section were good, and cleanliness was satisfactory. Food was acceptable, though breakfast could have had more fresh fruit and cocoa milk for children. Housekeeping staff were always smiling and friendly. The younger kitchen and bar staff, on the other hand, often skipped basic courtesies like hello, thank you, or you're welcome. Parking costs extra, although the spaces are just along the roadside. And throughout our stay, there was an unbearable sewage smell from the bathroom. If you're hoping to rest, the noise is there every night, even with the windows shut.

It's a shame, because the area is beautiful and the hotel's location is lovely. The staff weren't very helpful or accommodating. We were told they'd cater to food allergies and intolerances, but they made no effort to do so. The room wasn't as advertised. Some small lights didn't work, and I could hear people walking the hall all night. Bright white light came in under the door, too. Using the hotel beach costs €10 each day for two sun loungers, or you can lie on the concrete. All-inclusive doesn't cover drinks at the beach, and you have to pay for them. You're also not allowed to bring your own. All in all, disappointing.

Everyone was so welcoming, and the service was spectacular. The kitchen staff were great, especially Gibran and Gadiel. They were really lovely. I'd come back and recommend this hotel to others!
