Dream House Hotel

We were glad to find this place for a one-night stop on our long drive across the Balkans. Our first-floor room was very warm and cozy, with soft bedding and towels that made for a good rest. They also left tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast is ordered from a menu, and we found it tasty and filling, with eggs, meat, and vegetables. Thanks to the hosts for a relaxing stay. I don’t really get what people with negative reviews expect from a mountain stay, where most of us just need a clean room, a good bed, breakfast, and lovely fresh air!

My vacation was ruined by the building issues and the way the staff treated us. The walls don’t even seem like real walls, and the construction problems were awful. The rooms were cold, and they wouldn’t let us keep the air conditioning panel so they could save more energy. No one took responsibility for the noise or the air conditioning, and the restaurant cheated us on prices. The “manager” didn’t care about our concerns, while the receptionists ignored us in a really nasty way. A scandal for a hotel claiming four stars. It doesn’t deserve even one.

The room was spacious, but there were spiders, and the bathroom had no fan. We told reception, and they said they’d fix it, but nobody came, so it smelled for all four days. Reception also controlled the heating, so we had to call them to turn it on or off. The spa was dirty and didn’t work very well. They said yes to everything, but nothing actually got done.

Breakfast took a long time, and there wasn’t a buffet. They also strictly forbid bringing any food or drinks into the hotel. The reception service wasn’t helpful, and when we asked for an extra hanger, we had to wait until the next day. We didn’t like the surrounding location either. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money here.
