The lake view was the one part I really enjoyed. We waited around 50 minutes for the food, and the prices felt too high for the small portions. The trout seemed farm-raised and fattened, not wild. This plate in the picture was 28€. The plates came out empty, which wasn’t a problem since the food tasted good, but the prices still felt miserly. Zlatibor or Rostiljijada could teach them a thing or two. Sorry, I probably won’t come back. 🥲

We stopped here for a swim and ended up spending most of the afternoon by the water. The restaurant has a little pebble beach on the shore of the Skadar lake, and they kindly let us sit on the lower deck in a beach bar setup. We swam, had drinks, and stayed for lunch. The smoked carp, a local specialty, grilled vegetables, fried eel, and fried carp fillet were all delicious. The servers were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

The lake view is beautiful, and the food is delicious. Portions are generous too, one plate of carp could feed two adults, maybe even three if you’re not very hungry. At 10-20€ per person, the prices seem fair for the quality. The rooms are decent, though the nearby main road and railway can make the noise frustrating. It’s less of an issue if you’re out of the apartment for most of the day.

We found it easy to communicate in English, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The cozy atmosphere goes well with the view of Lake Shkodra. The food was a little overcooked, but the portions were generous and felt worth the price.
