Hotel and Restaurant CONTE

At Conte Hotel, my room was spotless and the staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional. Their service felt worthy of a 4-star hotel, and everything was flawless. The location in the heart of Perast was ideal for exploring this beautiful town. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it!

Breakfast was the highlight of our two-night stay at Hotel Conte. It was included and served buffet style, and we could eat right by the water. Our room was huge, with a mini kitchen, hot tub, spacious bathroom, and private terrace with an umbrella where we enjoyed afternoon coffee. The views were stunning, and noise wasn’t an issue. The water pressure was weak, though the temperature was fine. Rooms are spread around Perast, which gives each one its own character. Getting there could have gone more smoothly. We opted for parking, but were told to call to arrange it. As visitors from the USA, we didn’t have the best cell service. Once we got through, reception sent us to two parking lots. At the first, we were told to drive on to the second. Sending the exact parking location on WhatsApp before we arrived would have helped a lot. Since only locals and authorized vehicles can enter Perast, we had to wait for a golf cart after parking. Things improved at reception: we got a welcome drink, our room was ready, and the bellboy kindly carried our luggage up the stairs. We’d recommend Hotel Conte, but would plan ahead for a smoother check-in.

Parking in tiny Perast can be awkward, but Hotel conte had reserved spaces for guests, so we had somewhere to leave the car. The porter who drove us from there was so welcoming and told us stories about the area on the way. I wish I remembered his name. Our room was spacious and clean, the hosts were gracious, and we really enjoyed both the buffet breakfast and the restaurant. Perast makes a lovely historic stop for a night.

Breakfast at Restaurant Conte was a highlight, with plenty to choose from and a gorgeous waterside view. The hotel is right in the centre of Perast, and if you ask, a golf buggy can collect you from the car park at the end of town. Our room was nice, though the curtains let in enough sunlight to wake us every morning.
