Guest House 4M Gregović

We stayed in a three-bed studio in September 2024. It was compact, cozy, and fairly clean, with everything needed in the kitchen, room, and bathroom. Two rooms share a balcony, but each has its own table and clothes dryer. The hosts were welcoming and always willing to help. At an easy pace, the sea is about a 10-minute walk away, and it's magnificent. There are two beaches to choose from and a supermarket nearby. We're hoping to return to Petrovac this year.

We liked the peaceful street and the villa's well-kept grounds, including the little garden by the entrance. There are two short uphill climbs, and the promenade and Lucice beach take about 15 minutes to reach. The area feels cozy and uncrowded, and the evenings and nights were quiet. The hosts were friendly without hovering. In our view, the location was very convenient 😃. The rooms are older, though clean and supplied with the basics, and there's air conditioning. The bed, wardrobe, and doors to the bathroom and entrance all squeaked. The mattresses and pillows were tolerable. Some towels and sheets had holes or stains that hadn't been washed out, and the white linens were thin and see-through. It wasn't awful, just unpleasant, and manageable if you can overlook it. These rooms suit people who don't need much attention and spend lots of time outside. We were in Room 8 on the third floor, sharing a terrace with the neighbors in Room 7. It faced the mountains and nearby villas. From the front door there was a tiny glimpse of the sea. That part was perfect.

We stayed in August 2018, and the place itself was clean, tidy, quiet, and very good for families with children. The problem came on departure day. Checkout was at 10 a.m., but our transfer wasn't until 7 p.m. We left our bags with the hosts, then had to spend the day in the sun, which was exhausting. They wouldn't let us use the restroom and seemed to lose interest in us right away. Other apartments have a separate room for departing guests, with air conditioning, a shower, toilet, and lounge chairs. Ask whether one is available before booking, or the end of your holiday could be spoiled.

I don't see why this place only has two stars. Compared with the three-star hotel where I stayed last year, it's very comfortable and cozy. The little studio has wooden furniture, real WOOD, not chipboard. It's got everything I need: a stove, dishes, an iron, and working air conditioning. The TV's sound is quiet, but I didn't come here to watch TV.
