The host gave my friend and me too little information about the room, including the fact that it was right by the guesthouse entrance. With other guests constantly walking past, it was much noisier than we'd expected. Communication was unpleasant from the start. She was rude and impolite on the phone and again when we met in person. It felt like she saw us as "easy money," and that's not the kind of relationship you want with your host.

The only real plus is that it's right on the beach. The place was in very poor condition, so check whether it's been renovated before booking. The bathroom was old and smelly, and the air conditioning broke, spilling water all over my bed. They said the apartment had a balcony, but my room only had a small window. It wasn't cheap, either. Just a really bad stay.

The triple room had three single beds that were surprisingly comfortable, but it was small, really more of a place to sleep. The bathroom could use a renovation, though there was hot water every day. I took a star off for it. The location is right by the sea, with pizzerias, restaurants, ice cream shops, toy and souvenir stores just around the corner. A room with a sea view is probably best because you won't hear the street noise. Floors 1 and 2 are available, and there's an office and hairdresser on the ground floor. The air conditioning was quiet and worked perfectly. There's a kettle, stove, fridge, plates, pots, and so on, but this isn't really set up for preparing food for small children. There is no parking at the building, and access is difficult. Parking is 300 meters away on a parallel street and costs 7 euros a day. I recommend it for an undemanding family of three with a child at least 6-7 years old.
