Guest House Pržno Bay

It’s a small place, but comfy and cozy. It’s close to Voli supermarket, the bus station, and several beaches. I love it.

We had a standard room, with a nice view from the balcony.

The room was dirty, and nobody came for four days to clean it or change the sheets and towels. The entrance door and balcony door were broken, with wind coming through the balcony door. The air conditioning ran constantly but barely seemed to cool the room. The place looked nothing like the Booking photos. The bedroom had no bedside tables or small surface for a phone or book, and the furniture was old and worn. Parking costs €10 a day, and there’s no elevator on the building’s stairs. The TV was just for show because it had no signal. The balcony clothes rack was broken and flimsy, barely able to hold a pair of socks, so towels had to dry on the dirty railing. There were no garbage bags or toilet paper, and the bed was ancient enough that you could feel the springs. The plates and glasses in the cupboard were dirty, though they had left towel swans on the bed. There was loud, constant background noise from a neighboring hotel, a shop, and the busy street in front. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It could ruin your vacation and isn’t worth even one star.

The apartment looked much better in the pictures. The rooms and appliances were old and worn, and the layout was awkward: the hallway doubles as the living room, and you have to go through the kitchen to reach the bathroom. For this kind of place, the price should be three times lower. We booked through Booking, but after seeing it we decided to leave straight away. We offered to pay what was due and move on. The landlady agreed to charge one night, €135, then canceled through Booking, saying she didn’t accept refunds, apparently so she wouldn’t have to pay Booking’s commission. €135 wasn’t much, so we left immediately and found somewhere better. Not recommended.
