The landlord was helpful and put a lot of care into things, and getting the keys was easy. The little apartment has a cozy terrace and is only about two minutes from the sea. Restaurants, shops, a weekend market, and an ATM are all close by. A very recommendable stay in central Risan.

Risan makes a good base for seeing the surrounding area. The village itself is pleasant, with cafes, a park, a post office, and a huge bench that makes a great photo spot. The price is very attractive, and the owner is exceptionally kind. Finding the place was tricky, though: only the neighborhood is named, there are no street names or numbers, and you have to make your way up and down stairs.

A handy base for exploring the Bay of Kotor, with the beach and city center close by. The hosts were kind and helpful.
