What made the stay for our group of seven so memorable was the warmth of Stefan and his parents. They treated us like family, and Stefan quickly helped with anything we needed, from things for the room to arranging boat trips or car bookings. He also had plenty of suggestions for places to see and eat around the Bay and beyond. We stayed in this charming restored stone house at the start of August, with the host family in one half and four guest apartments plus shared areas in the other. Our bedrooms were spotless, en-suite, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, with fresh bedding each day. In front of the house there’s a little private stone dock with loungers, umbrellas, cushions, and towels. We loved taking an early swim there. The location is on a quieter, straight stretch of the coastal road along Boka Kotorska, and there’s ample guest parking. Breakfast costs a little extra, but we thought it was well worth it: tasty, generous, and made with local food from the hosts’ gardens or family production. There were cold cuts, cheese, bread, vegetables, and eggs made to order. Since we were a large group, the hosts thoughtfully set us up in the breakfast kitchen so couples could have more privacy in the shared space. There’s also a kitchen where breakfast is prepared, and a sauna and jacuzzi room that can be reserved ahead. We loved our time in Stoliv and would be hard pressed to find a better all-around stay on the Adriatic. I’d gladly recommend it and hope to come back, maybe when Stefan’s new winery is ready.

The view really stood out, and Stoliv itself is a fascinating town. The scenery around the whole Bay of Kotor is beautiful, but this spot felt like another level. It’s between Tivat and Kotor, which seemed to us like the best place to stay in the area. Everything went smoothly, and Petrica and her family deserve a big thank you. They’re friendly, know the area well, and take care of whatever you need. We had a really good time and would strongly recommend it. Hoping we can make it back for a second, third, and fourth visit too 😊

The attic rooms were great, and there are good restaurants nearby. It’s in a quiet village outside Kotor, with lovely views across the bay and a simple breakfast.

I’m really glad I stayed here. I liked the hotel and hope to come back with my whole family.
