Apartments Debora

Nice.

We ended up finding somewhere else ourselves after getting exhausted, hungry, and unable to resolve things with the manager or the booking website. Since it was peak season in August, finding another place was difficult and cost us extra for parking, travel, and phone calls. The apartment was hard to find because the directions weren't clear, so we used nearby businesses to locate it. Inside, two people were sitting barefoot among shoes scattered around reception. We later realized they were members of the family who live there. The older woman didn't speak English and didn't understand our reservation, even after we showed her the paper. She wouldn't accept it and called the manager, Debora, who dismissed us and said there were no rooms. The woman then went out into the village to look for a makeshift place for us, while time passed. After looking into it later, we saw the host rents through multiple channels without communicating overbookings. I consider them unreliable.

We arrived at 10 pm on August 15th, in 35-degree heat, and had to scramble for makeshift accommodation after the owner canceled through WhatsApp. An elderly person and a little girl had first told us everything was full and sent us away. We'd booked through Booking around three months earlier for a week, but luckily hadn't paid. Being in a foreign country, we didn't know what to do and spent more than 20 euros contacting Booking. They'd given our apartment to someone else. The owners were unreliable, disorganized, and opportunistic.

The balcony view is stunning, and the hosts were very friendly despite the language barrier. It's clean and reasonably priced. It can be tricky to find the entrance, and the room is small.
