Most things were fine, though our room was missed during cleaning one day. We also had to wake at 5 a.m. every day because the hotel is right beside a mosque and the call to prayer came over loudspeakers.

The noise from next door was awful and seemed to happen almost every hour. Rooms were outdated and not clean, staff were rude, and there was barely any parking. You need a car to get anywhere decent. This feels more like a motel. Please stay elsewhere.

Staying at this so-called hotel made an already disappointing trip worse. Ulcinj was not clean, and I found the beaches average. There are much better places to visit. The experience here was horrible.

The photos give the wrong impression. Everything was outdated, terrible, and noisy, and there was one younger male staff member in particular I couldn't stand. I'd never stay here again, even if I were paid. I arrived to rest and left feeling traumatized. Zero stars if I could.

The family who run the place made us feel welcome and at home. Gazz speaks perfect English, even better than we do, which helped since our local language skills aren't strong. He's quite funny too. Our room was cozy and sparkling clean, with hot water all day, and the pool was clean, well maintained, and fun. There was space to sit in the sun and relax. Check-in and checkout were super simple. The location is probably the highest point of ulcinj, with a great view and a masjid just a stone's throw away. Those are my five reasons for giving five stars.
