That private beach and the spectacular view from our apartment made the stay feel special, and the service covered everything we needed. The drive is a bit of a challenge, so bring groceries for your stay; the road is very narrow, though a confident driver should manage it. Old town, Long Beach, and the other places are about 20-25 minutes away by car. I’d gladly return. Booking la mer beach residence was one of my best decisions, and it was one of my best stays ever.

The view was fantastic, though getting there meant tackling a very narrow, steep path. The owner sent a video showing the route, but it still wasn’t easy to work out how to get there from that. We managed, but I’d look at other options too.

We found the owners really friendly, and the apartments were comfortable, well made, and lovely to stay in. The view was mind-blowing. Definitely recommend.

The property was cozy and private, with lovely views, but the access made the first day exhausting. The listing didn’t explain how difficult the route would be: it’s a network of very narrow, steep roads going uphill and downhill, and driving a rental car there was stressful. I was genuinely worried about my deposit, and after finding the place I didn’t feel like exploring because I didn’t want to navigate those roads repeatedly. We ended up cancelling and booking somewhere nearby, which made the rest of the trip much smoother. I think the access difficulty should be made clearer in the listing. If you’re confident driving and like secluded spots, it could suit you; if easy access and stress-free travel matter, consider other options.
