We could happily have stayed longer at Villa Oleander. The family made us feel very welcome, and breakfast on the rooftop terrace was homemade and delicious, with lovely views. A highly recommendable stay.

I booked this while backpacking because I wanted some privacy and a break from hostels, without expecting anything in particular. It turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The owners were warm and helpful, and the room was fresh and clean in an excellent location. After getting sunburned, I spent most of my time on the terrace and in the ”garden area”. They kept offering drinks and checking if I needed anything. When I left for Tirana, they even drove me to the bus station for free. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Ulcinj.

The furniture wasn’t new, but the rooms were quite clean. We stayed five nights and felt very comfortable, thanks to the owners, who were friendly and worked hard to make us feel at home. Breakfast on the terrace was tasty and filling enough.

We had a really great stay in Ulcinj, and the hostess and her son were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room had a cozy interior and was super clean, with nice AC and a spacious, tidy balcony. The shower was phenomenal, warm and roomy, with great water pressure. So far, this has been the nicest place we’ve stayed on our road trip through Montenegro.
