Nino and Nada made us feel right at home, almost like staying with grandparents. The traditional breakfast and dinner were a highlight, probably the best food we had in Montenegro. The rooms are simple but have what you need for a weekend. Virpazar is a 20 to 30 minute walk away, and there are several hiking trails nearby. We had a perfect stay and would absolutely recommend it.

Nino and Nada, thank you! The room was neat and clean, the views were beautiful, and the food was delicious. We felt so welcome, and this was one of the best moments of our two-week trip around Montenegro.

Breakfast beneath the grapevines was probably the best part of our trip. This is a simple place that feels like home, surrounded by lush greenery that puts you at ease. It’s a taste of how local people live and look after guests, so don’t expect the luxuries of a five-star hotel. The hosts don’t speak English, but Google Translate made communication easy. The hospitality felt genuine, though this kind of stay may not suit everyone.

My mom and I had such a good stay. We had a clean, comfortable room looking out over a stunning valley, and the hosts were incredibly kind and clearly wanted us to enjoy our trip. Breakfast was tasty each morning, served in a courtyard under the grapevines. We hope we can return!

We spent two nights eating there, and the homemade dinners were the best meals of our time in Montenegro. The wine and juices were lovely too, with ingredients from the garden, vineyard, and orchard. Our hosts generously shared their food, culture, and knowledge, and the whole family made us feel so welcome. The room was spotless, breakfast was delicious, and the property has a breathtaking view of the mountains and sunset. This guesthouse near Lake Skadar was a real treasure during our backpacking trip from Slovenia to Montenegro, one of the best stays we’ve had. Don’t skip the dinner menus. PS: the Google Maps location is correct.
