The price and location gave it a 2-3* kind of value for 40€ a night, but the service and cleanliness ruined the stay. The dishes and inside of the drawers were dirty, towels hadn’t been changed so we used our own, and the heated towel rails didn’t work. They and the radiators worked perfectly on one cold day, though. Some things needed repairs, and we had to buy our own toilet paper and garbage bags. The owner initially refused to register us and sent us to the tourist information center to do it ourselves. They said he had to handle it through the application, and after a day of back and forth he did. I don’t recommend staying here, even on a tight budget, since the extra expenses and stress will cost you more.

The room felt cheap and had no real atmosphere, and the soundproofing was poor enough that we heard children running upstairs. Our mattress was so old we swapped it for the two single bed mattresses. We paid 25euro a night. It was easy to get to, and a handy base for driving to hiking spots. The room was clean, and the morning view was really lovely.

It was freezing in the room when we visited in mid-February, so we slept in our sleeping bags under the bed cover. In the morning there was no hot water at first, and when it did come through we had to leave the tap running for 3 min. The room looked clean at first, but the towels were dirty. There were a few plates but no dish liquid.

The heating didn’t work and the apartment was cold. At least there was hot water, so we warmed our feet in a basin.

It was freezing inside, the place didn’t seem suitable for renting, and the wifi wasn’t working.
