The scenery was wonderful, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our room was convenient and very clean, and the host was nice. One issue: the upstairs shower has no curtain, so water gets all over the bathroom.

The house has great mountain views and plenty of space. We had all four bedrooms, a shared living room and kitchen, and two bathrooms to ourselves. The kitchen was equipped, and there was a washing machine. After rafting and hiking through Durmitor, we came back cold, but the hosts had lit a fire in the oven, so we could warm up and dry our laundry. They were incredibly friendly and even gave us a gift. You could buy fresh eggs and breakfasts such as burek, pancakes, or doughnuts. Having a car is handy since it’s a bit far from town and a shop.

From the windows, you get lovely views of the mountains, and the place is close to the centre of Žabljak, Crno Jezero, Savina Kuk, and the Djurdjevića Bridge. The shared kitchen and living room are large, there’s a shared bathroom, and the Wi-Fi is fast. Everything else you need for a comfortable stay is there too. The only downside is that the hostess doesn’t speak Russian or English.
