There’s a pleasant terrace out front with a table and chairs for sitting in the morning, and parking is available in front of the property. The room was clean and the shared bathroom was okay. The location has lovely views of the Durmitor Mountains and is five minutes by car from Zablak. There’s no shared kitchen. The owner doesn’t speak English at all, so communicating with him is very difficult.

Vukan is great. He knows the Durmitor area inside out and offers plenty of information and advice. You can buy homemade cheese and kajmak through him, and he always suggests a good nearby restaurant. The accommodation is easy to find, uncrowded, and relaxed, with a lovely view over the pastures and Savin Kuk. It’s very well placed for visiting Savin Kuk and Durmitor in general. I definitely recommend staying here, and taking the cable car up to Savin Kuk is a must. From there, you can see all of Durmitor and get a sense of the size of the mountain range.

There’s plenty of space and the location is good, but the house needs renovating. There’s mold on the walls.
